Designed to meet the most severe environmental standards, it
is adequate for all applications in which the residue or the
collected dust do not have to be kept dry, as well as for
gasses. It is especially indicated for applications in which
there is the risk of an explosion or that have wet particles,
such as, for example, the aluminum dusts and the liquid paint
residues.
Since it features an automatic residue discharging system, it
is indicated for applications in which the volume of dust or
residues is large. It is certainly the equipment with the
lowest operational cost in existence on the market, since the
filtering element is the water itself, which remains in a
closed circuit, and is consumed only by evaporation or by
absorption.
The collector is built in a welded structure that is coated
with a highly corrosion resistant paint. The conveyor that
removes the residues that settle, by drowning them in the dust
collector, is built in stainless steel and is driven by a gear
motor with permanent lubrication, which grants great
durability to the assembly. In a few cases, such as for
example, liquid paint residues, it is indispensable to add to
the water products that cause the decanting. We always
recommend adding anti-oxidants to the water. In some
applications such as, for example, blasting it is
indispensable.
The CPU model wet filters are extremely compact, and occupy
less space that the conventional filters. The operating system
is fully automatic, it is sufficient to have a water feeding
source, and the buoy system will automatically control the
necessary water level and the conveyor belt in stainless steel
will remove the residues without the interference of the
operator.
The operating principle of the CPU wet collector is that the
air stream produced by the fan builds a turbulence in the
water that is deposited at the lower part of the collector. At
the water level, there is a saw tooth type deflector whose
height is adjustable and has the function of controlling this
turbulence. With this procedure, the air that was contaminated
by dust or other residues gets in contact with the water. The
heavier particles or those with a higher water absorption
capacity settle immediately on the conveyor belt, the lighter
ones, even though involved by the water, end up by joining the
air stream. A series of deflectors mounted along the walls of
the collector retain this contaminated water, which returns to
be reused, and these impurities end up by also settling on the
conveyor belt.
Serial items
The CPU model wet dust collectors are equipped with the
following serial items:
• Inspection door.
•
Automatic loading buoy.
•
Automatic unloading system.
•
Fan or motor fan dimensioned for each application.
The wet dust collectors are manufactured in the standardized
models listed below, which can be conjugated to meet larger
outflows:
