HELMET
FOR BLASTING AND PAINTING - Series 88
Approved by
MSHA/INOSH and CE
Comfortable adjustment
Ample Visual Field
Full Protection against Return of Abrasive Material for the Head, the Neck and
the Upper Part of the Chest.
The Series 88 helmets with induced air inlet provide a comfortable breathing
protection, both for blasting and painting works.
Advantages of this Helmet:
More Protection
The Series 88 helmets, with induced air inlet provide more protection than any
mask with negative pressure, as well as more protection that the great
majority of helmets with positive pressure. The collar for the neck, which is
tight but comfortable, provides a physical barrier against contaminants in
suspension in the air and helps keep the positive pressure inside the helmet.
Comfortable Adjustment
Extremely light , the helmet has an adjustable belt for the
head, which keeps the helmet always firm and at the same
time comfortable on the operator's head. The air flow is
channelled directly to the breathing zone. Due to the fact
that is is roomy, the helmet allows the operator to wear
glasses, a beard, etc. without any difficulty.
Protection for the head
The helmet provides excellent protection against impact and
penetration. The helmet and the nylon poncho protect the
head, the face and the upper part of the body against return
of abrasive materials and the contaminants in suspension.
Excellent Visibility
The roomy protection lens provides excellent visibility, and
the air inlet above the lens prevents it from becoming dull..
Accustic Insulation
The well-sized air inlet eliminates the noise caused by the
compressed air, the sealing reduced, to a large extent, the
noise caused by the blasting nozzle.
Air Filters for Helmets
The filters are produced in two models, one for two
operators (Stock code 1225 - 4) and another one for up to
six operators (Stock code 1206 - 8). Both feature a welded
steel body, a thread to adapt the air inlet, a pressure
regulator, a manometer, a safety valve, a drain valve, a
espiga de saída for the operator, a tampão at the remaining
outlets and an easily replaceable filtering element which
features several filtering stages, among which we point out
the polyester fibers, carvão ativado and alumina ativada.
Thanks to these several filtering stages, this filter
eliminates the solid particles that exist in the compressed
air, as well as, water and odors, supplying the operator
with a good-quality air.
Air Conditioner for Helmets
The model AC 1000 air conditioners for helmets have a 1000
BTU capacity, and can reduce the compressed air temperature
by up to 17º C, providing comfort to the operator and,
consequently, an increase in productivity. They have their
own belt and a thread to adapt to the helmet (series 88).
The temperature adjustment is made by the operator himself,
and it is sufficient therefore to turn the black rod at the
lower part of the conditioner.
